Problem Note 54224: The fitting process for the LogNormal-Gamma severity model does not finish processing

In SAS® OpRisk VaR, for some loss data sets, the rate of change used for the LogNormal-Gamma severity model does not enable the fitting algorithm to converge to a final fitted model. The fitting process seems to continue indefinitely.
When this problem occurs, there are no errors or warnings.
